Ryan Torn Cloud is a unique, immersive experience in its desire to never stay constant in structure, genre, or timbre.

Torn Cloud is from the heart, for the heart.

The music is open to you, a complex world that interacts with the listener. Whether you’re happy, sad, bored, nostalgic, listening to it with intention, playing it in the background, alone, or with friends, a long drive or a short walk, Torn Cloud will always be what you need it to be. Favorite track: Sky Burial.

about

The helpful skylight enabler, aquarium glass, important birdseed in the feeder. And the powdered nectar, prepared properly too. Neo-sunday service at the circus. It’s always good to take notes on the progress of things when you get home.
A time lapse painting of two ice cream flavors, scoop of each, melting together in a cup with a cone on top. The more it melts the shinier it gets. And you can sorta see the vague reflection. Opaque swirls make Gumby the compass needle, polyphonically whispering his secret: “I confuse the sea and the sky”
Not bent but bending.
Little surprises like from the coin machines at the entrance or exits or little things in cereal boxes. Holographic stickers of puppies. Dream vacation voicemails.
Snippets heard of conversation or radio while your at the neighbors’ door delivering the paper. shhh.
Dinner’s at 8 or 9 or 10; a stone sinking in the river.
Extra spoons in the left handed drawer of the yellow hutch. Next to the licorice.
Here to help. I know they’re your favorite. Love,
the freeze [1]
A few minutes debating the lawn. Years and years ago, the few of them handing out cigarettes. Saving up. Collecting checks in rain catchment systems for practice.
A secret involving a pair of secret flip flops.
Sore limbs and joints and a head like certain flora.
Getting cut off mid-sentence–sneezing.
A reminder (too late too, whoops, sorry) put someplace else.
Getting what you need: a cartoon screen seen from a warm bed in the mirror some morning type of penance.
Sand pulled from the castle.
Sea shells leaking crushed out vending machines when you turn the quarter in.
Hummingbird unaware.
Time to dig around a little bit.
First they emptied the lost and found. Then the next summer they emptied the lake. Finders keepers. Fodder for the foals. Every night say bye-bye to the colt. A bunch of birds in the concord grapes draped from electrical wire. Rumors of a parade.
All in all, worrying’s all for the [ruby throats or calliopes].
A theatre production of Mendeleev’s Periodic Table.
For the people that didn’t know they were famous.
As a way to explain Thank you.
